It’s a busy time of year for the shops as people head out to get those last minute items in the run-up to Christmas.
If you’ve still got Christmas shopping to do then you’d better be quick, as the majority of stores will be closing early for the festive season as staff down tools for a well-earned break.
Asda will be among those open in the run-up to the big day – but like many other supermarket giants, will have different hours over the festive season.
So just when are they open over Christmas? Here’s what you need to know…
What are the Asda opening hours this Christmas?
Here’s when your local branch will be open over the festive season.
Christmas Eve: All branches are open but are likely to have reduced opening hours, with many closing their doors around 7pm ahead of Christmas Day.
However this may vary from one branch to the next, so be sure to check the store locator on the Asda website to see what time your local branch shuts on that day.
Christmas Day: All branches will be closed, however some Asda Petrol stations will be open. Once again check the website to see which are remaining open on Christmas Day and which will be shut.
Boxing Day: Most stores will open their doors once again although once again opening times will vary and most will close earlier than usual.
Many branches will be open from 9-6 but check the store locator to see exactly when your local branch will be open.
Normal opening hours will then resume at many stores until New Year’s Eve, when the retailer will once again be closing early for the New Year celebrations and opening later on 1 January.
