If you looked at my Instagram account, you probably wouldn’t know how much I hate having my picture taken. So, imagine my delight when I discovered there was a website that could make me look ‘business ready’ for LinkedIn, or any of my profiles attached to work, in minutes.
I’m always on the lookout for tools to enhance my professional image, and recently stumbled across Portrait Pal’s AI headshot generator. Initially, I was pretty sceptical about whether an AI tool could deliver the quality I needed, so I decided to give it a try – no harm in having a look, right? As for the result, I was pleasantly surprised.
Firstly, it’s so easy to use Portrait Pal AI – all I needed to do was find a minimum of six photos of myself, and press upload for the magic to happen. If you can’t be bothered with even that, you can use your Instagram handle to pull in your pictures, which is a fab feature – especially for those of us who are always on the go.
Next thing you know, I get an email around 15 minutes later saying my pictures were ready – and if I’m honest? I looked better than ever. Sure, not all of them looked ‘exactly’ like me, but most were really good – and it was just the ‘polished’ image I wanted for my work profiles.
One of the features of Portrait Pal that I thought was cool, was the level of customisation available. For example, you can tweak the background, adjust the lighting, and even modify facial expressions to suit your preferences.
When I compared this to some websites and apps out there, this level of flexibility is a game-changer – especially for professionals who need their headshots to align with their personal brand.
