Rylan Clark has confirmed he has a ‘secret project’ in the works with Holly Willoughby.
The pair are firm friends and have previously shared pictures of each other on nights out on Instagram, including once with The Traitors winner Harry Clark, and share plenty in common, such as presenting on This Morning.
So the only logical step, then, is to take their professional relationship to the next level and collaborate on a venture.
Fortunately, former It Takes Two host Rylan, who recently revealed he refused to watch the Big Brother reboot, has announced that said venture is happening.
However, fans thirsty for more details will be disappointed, as the 35-year-old remained hush-hush when asked about the exact nature of the project.
‘All I can say is me and Holly have done something and you’ll find out what it is very soon,’ he told The Sun.
When probed for more information, he cryptically added: ‘Put it this way, we’re not doing a show together but all will become clear…’
Holly, 42, only recently returned to TV on Dancing on Ice after quitting This Morning in October following 14 years on the sofa, but did not address her absence on the opening episode of the ITV skating competition series.
However, Rylan better get the wheels in motion on their venture as there are rumours she’s planning to jack in the UK once DOI has concluded.
Holly is said to have found the last year ‘incredibly tough’, as ‘it’s really taken it out of her’, which could be why a massive move to the US might be on the horizon.
‘She thought long and hard about returning for Dancing On Ice and it’s proved to be the correct decision, it’s got her back in the groove again,’ a source told the Daily Mail.
‘Jobs in America have always been at the back of her mind but due to circumstance, now they’ve become a genuine reality and she’s excited by that.’
They continued: ‘Discussions are taking place and she’s in no rush to take on any roles, but if there is a presenting gig she feels passionate about Stateside, she has the freedom now to explore it.’
Rylan, meanwhile, is busy himself with TV work, including fronting the upcoming reality series Dating Naked UK, which sees a group of singletons living together and hoping to attract potential suitors in the nude.
He’s also hosting Amazon Prime’s Hot Mess Summer following eight party-loving Brits, all a liability on a night out, who are challenged to spend the summer on the other side of the bar—running one of Zante’s busiest party spots.
