Katie Price spends Christmas Day without her eldest children as she addresses her less than successful stint in Liverpool’s panto.
Pricey’s two eldest children Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, seem to be having fun with their other famous parent – Peter Andre – while she takes to the stage.
Posting on social media the 50-year-old Mysterious Girl hitmaker donned a Christmas hat and danced with his kids as they joined him and wife Emily MacDonagh, 34, in their lavish home.
It’s though the former glamour model has returned home to spend the day with her other children; Harvey, 21, Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, during her downtime from the panto.
Katie’s commitments to the Sleeping Beauty panto – which she was paid £60k for – mean she’s tucking into a curry takeaway after rushing home last night after her performance.
Speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast, the 45-year-old said: ‘Do you know what I’m doing Christmas Day? I am exhausted and I finish panto at six o’clock Christmas Eve, There’s no way I’m coming with the kids, all their presents,’
‘For a five-hour drive back home, to have Christmas Day to get up here for two o’clock for Boxing Day’.
She added: ‘I’m not having that stress. So Christmas Day I’m not cooking, I’m going to get a takeaway curry.’
Her show at the M&S Bank arena runs until the end of the year but tickets prices have been slashed after complaints about the Celebrity Big Brother icon forgetting her lines.
Katie transformed into the wicked fairy Carabosse, better known as Maleficent , wearing a figure hugging bedazzled purple gown to show off her recent body alterations – including her 17th boob job.
While she may have scored an impressive paycheck for her stage stint which started on December 16, money can’t buy a good performance as the former glamour model confessed she ‘ballsed up’ during opening night and beyond.
On her podcast she admitted: ‘I am broken, knackered. If I have to read another script line, my head is ready to explode.
‘For the past six days I’ve had to learn a full script, dance songs for panto that I don’t know or I’ve never even heard of.
‘On top of that my nerves. The stress I’ve put on myself this week is ridiculous. I have ballsed my lines up and had to make some stuff up, so hopefully nobody noticed it.’
The mum-of-five revealed her mind goes blank before walking on stage due to how tired she is.
‘I need reassuring – this is new to me,’ Katie continued. ‘I’m alright going on telly, podcasting, talking about myself, but when you’ve got to learn a script and you’ve got people who have paid for tickets you’ve got to be good.’
Peter revealed recently he and Emily are expecting their third child together, but she was sadly rushed to hospital but thankfully everything was okay.
The star told OK!: ‘It’s been an emotional roller coaster for Emily, but she never complains; she just gets on with it.’
