Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have split, weeks after romance rumors emerged, it has been claimed.
The Shake It Off singer, 33, has been linked to the 1975 frontman, 34, in recent weeks – after her six-year romance with Joe Alwyn came to an end.
However, according to reports, the pair have already gone their separate ways – shortly after the speculation began.
An insider simply told TMZ that the Taylor is ‘single’ again.
The reason for their rumored break-up is unclear, but all eyes will be on her next performance in Detroit on Friday for any sign of a response.
Taylor first sent the rumormill spinning over her bond with Matty at the beginning of May, soon after her relationship with Conversations With Friends star Joe ended.
It was claimed that Jack Antonoff reconnected the pair years after they were initially linked, and they were having a ‘good time’ with each other.
Matty was also seen in the crowd at a string of dates on the musician’s Eras tour, and pictured looking cozy with her closest pals during the performances.
At one point, he got up on stage to accompany Phoebe Bridgers, who has been supporting Taylor on the road.
Although they didn’t directly address the speculation, fans were convinced that the Love Story singer gave her beau a secret message from the stage during a performance in Nashville.
Before launching into a rendition of Cardigan, she was seen mouthing the words: ‘This is about you, you know who you are. I love you.’
Eagle-eyed Swifties couldn’t help but connect this to footage of Matty mid-performance at a 1975 gig in the Philippines on May 3, where he recited the same phrase.
If that wasn’t enough, she also told a delighted crowd in Massachusetts: ‘I want you all to know that I’ve never been this happy in my life, in all aspects of my life, ever before.
‘And I just wanna thank you for being a part of that,’ she sweetly added to her adoring fans.
‘It is not just the tour, I just, I don’t know… I feel like for the first time everything makes sense.’
‘So, I’m gonna play this song. It just brings me so many happy memories,’ she added before Question…?, from her Midnights album.
Matty went in a different direction while playing at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend festival in Dundee on May 27, when he insisted that his love life would be ‘ignored’ during the 1975’s set.
‘Is it all a bit?”,’ he told the crowd, refusing to be drawn on what ‘it’ referred to. ‘Is it sincere? Will he ever address it?
‘All of these questions and more will be ignored in the next hour.’
Their relationship was met with a huge amount of backlash over Matty’s previous controversial comments regarding Taylor – as well as fellow musician Ice Spice.
The Chocolate singer previously said he wouldn’t be Taylor’s boyfriend as it would be ’emasculating’, comments that resurfaced over the last few weeks.
He also joined in on a series of jokes which could be construed as racist and misogynistic on an episode of the now-deleted Adam Friedland podcast.
One segment of the podcast saw Matty and the hosts speculate over Ice Spice’s ethnicity, joking she sounded like an ‘Inuit Spice Girl,’ and a ‘chubby Chinese lady’ before they imitated Chinese and Hawaiian accents.
He later apologized over any offense caused, comments which came months before Taylor announced her collaboration with Ice Spice.
As well as this, he came under fire for other remarks, including chatter about women’s periods and labelling Harry Styles a ‘queerbaiter’ who had essentially ‘got the N-word pass from the gay community.’
