Nick Cannon has revealed which of his 12 children he spends the most time with, after admitting he gets his Mother’s Day cards ‘mixed up’.
The 42-year-old has famously fathered 12 children with six different women, and recently awkwardly forgot one of them when he tried to name them all.
His relationship with those women and all his offspring has risen back into the spotlight in recent days, as Bre Tiesi, with whom he shares his sixth child, has shared details about their relationship as she makes her Selling Sunset debut.
Nick is dad to twins Moroccan and Monroe, who he shares with Mariah Carey after welcoming them in April 2011.
He then welcomed two children with Brittany Bell, in February 2017, Golden Sagon, and in December 2020, Powerful Queen.
Twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir were born in June 2021, with Abby De La Rosa, and just days later, Alyssa Scott announced the birth of her and Nick’s son Zen, who tragically died from a brain tumour at just five months old.
In 2022, Nick went on to welcome five children: Legendary Love with Bre, Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha La Cole, Rise Messiah with Brittany, Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby, and Halo Maria with Alyssa.
And he’s now revealed which of the 12 he spends the most time with.
‘My beautiful daughter Onyx, that’s probably the child I spend the most time with,’ Nick admitted.
‘I am with her at least three times a week for the full day.’
He continued on The Jason Lee podcast: ‘But I don’t put that out there on social media because it’s not for them, but LaNisha and I have a super strong understanding and our co-parenting operation is so solid.
‘But you know, if you see me on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, my daughter is right next to me, whether I’m on set.’
‘I got a nursery in my office,’ he added, saying that he would be leaving the podcast to ‘spend more time with her’.
He added: ‘All of my other kids, they’re in school, they’re babies, as well as Onyx, but I appreciate that LaNisha gives me the respect enough to allow me to have her really, as equal amount of time as she does.’
This comes after Nick recalled getting his Mother’s Day cards mixed up, as he said he ‘tried my best’.
‘I thought it would be really, really good … to show people how you really feel, write it down. I was doing handwritten messages from the heart.
‘As I’m writing a handwritten message, I get the cards mixed up. And then so when one baby mama reads the card about how I feel about the other baby mama…’
Awkward!
