We could all use a little bit more joy right now and, thanks to manifestation and business mentor Victoria Jackson, one parkgoer’s day was made when he found a heartwarming note and a £5 note taped to a bench.
Victoria, 36, from Leeds, left a greeting card and a £5 note taped to a park bench in her local park on Thursday, November 26, for a lucky stranger to find.
On the envelope, stuck to a bench, Victoria wrote: ‘If you find this, please open it. It was meant for you’.
Armed with duct tape and a pair of scissors, Victoria headed to a local park to perform the random act of kindness.

Victoria told Metro.co.uk: ‘It was very busy, but I waited for everyone to disappear before I left the card and ran off. I kept looking around to see if anyone had noticed it.’
Victoria placed £5 inside a greeting card, handwriting an uplifting message for the mystery recipient.
‘Life is a little tough for everyone right now,’ she wrote. ‘I hope you find this note and see that there are happy moments throughout our day if we look close enough.’
A few hours later, thinking she would hear nothing from it, Victoria received a message from a member of her Facebook group, The Manifestation Collective, telling her they had seen a post mentioning her good deed.
‘I got a message from a girl who is in my Facebook group to let me know they had seen a post in another group about the card and money,’ she explained. ‘It’s crazy, I didn’t think I would hear anything.’
Victoria then reached out to the sharer of the post, who revealed that their 90-year-old father had found the note.
Making the moment even more special, it turned out that the man is currently recovering from COVID-19.
‘The lady told me that her dad has had coronavirus and is still recovering,’ Victoria tells us. ‘It’s only his second walk outside since.
‘It has made him so happy, now he wants to go back to the park next week and leave something for someone else to find.’
Causing somewhat of a ripple effect, Victoria explains that she has been contacted on social media by people letting her know that she has inspired them to take their own action towards more goodwill in the world.
‘I got a message on Instagram off someone to let me know that she wanted to do her own act of kindness and carry on the positive energy,’ she says. ‘Someone else in The Manifestation Collective Facebook group got in touch to tell me that they’d left a book and £10 on the side of the road for a stranger to find.’
Speaking of her business and her Facebook group, Victoria is proud to have created a space for people to share the positives and bring a bit of light into each other’s lives.
She added: ‘Part of the Manifestation Collective is about trying to put good energy back into the world.
‘Times are so tough right now and we are bombarded with negative news all the time and mindset is the more people who can do little acts of kindness, the more people will know that there are good people out there to help provide little moments of happiness.’
