Sometimes, you just need a chocolate hit fast.

So we bring you this recipe for indulgent fudgy brownies with just four ingredients.

It’s brought to you by the people at Carr’s Flour and there’s just five steps, so it’s very easy.

The recipe includes raspberries to cut through the richness, but if you don’t have any, the base mix will still work. You could add other fruit or nuts instead if you would like.

In terms of the chocolate spread, you can try Nutella for that hazelnut hit or a non nut based spread if you prefer it.

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 400g chocolate spread
  • 140g self raising flour
  • 150g fresh raspberries

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180˚C/160˚C fan/Gas Mark 4. Grease a 25cm x 20cm traybake tin.
  2. Beat the eggs well until thick and creamy.
  3. Weigh out the chocolate spread and place in a heatproof bowl over a pan of water. Simmer until it starts to melt.
  4. Gradually add the melted mixture into the egg. Fold in the flour, then add the raspberries, being careful not to damage the raspberries by over mixing.
  5. Pour the mixture into your tin, levelling with a spatula and bake for 40 minutes or until firm to the touch.
