Just in time for the weekend, here’s an easy-peasy recipe for a deliciously autumnal sweet treat.

Eloise Head, the founder of FitWaffle Kitchen, has wowed her fans yet again by creating a super simple recipe for Lotus Biscoff and white chocolate flapjacks – and they look absolutely incredible.

The video, posted on Instagram, has received more than 17,000 likes and hundreds of comments from people planning to try the dessert for themselves.

The flapjacks have a base of Lotus Biscoff spread mixed in with your usual oats, then are topped with Lotus Biscoff spread, white chocolate, and a Lotus Biscoff Biscuit for that final touch.

They only require six ingredients and can be ready in well under an hour.

They look impressive and taste glorious too, so make the perfect bake for entertaining with friends or just for yourself to enjoy.

So, how do you make them?

Ingredients:

  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 150g Biscoff spread – plus 60g for the topping
  • 60g light brown sugar
  • 150g golden syrup
  • 300g rolled oats
  • 250g white chocolate

  2. Once smooth, stir in the rolled oats, mix, then pour the mixture into a lined baking tray
  3. Bake in the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes
  4. Leave the flapjacks to cool, then pour melted white chocolate over the top, smoothing with a knife to ensure an even spread
  5. Drizzle melted Biscoff spread over the top and run a knife through to create a feathered effect
  6. Top with Lotus biscuits then cut into squares to serve
