There’s a new adorable trend popping up all over social media – the temptation challenge.
It’s also known as the chocolate challenge, fruit snack challenge or patience challenge but the idea is the same.
Parents place some sweets, chocolate or treats down in front of their kids, with their phone filming what they are doing.
They tell their kids that they can have the sweets but that they are going to leave the room for a minute and they have to wait until mummy or daddy is back.
Some kids go for the treat straight away, while others sniff or touch them but don’t actually eat anything.
After a minute or so, the parents come back, look at the bowl and let their little one have some, if they haven’t already scoffed the lot.
Parents are loving watching the clips back and seeing how their kids behave when they are out of the room.
It’s hard not to laugh at some of the facial expressions and little things they say when their mum or dad is away.
Celebrities have been getting their toddlers to try it out too, with everyone from Kylie Jenner to Joe Wicks testing their kids.
Some people have even been trying it out on their dogs to see how will they actually listen to instructions, and let’s say the results have been even more mixed there.
