Puzzles are a fun way to pass time so, naturally, have become a prominent part of lockdown.
Those looking for a new challenge will be pleased to hear that one company has brought out a 1000-piece jigsaw which doubles up as a game of Where’s Wally.
The Where’s Wally puzzle – which places the loveable character in an ‘Aztec wonderland’ – is currently on sale for £18.99.
The company behind the puzzle, Truffle Shuffle, says on its website: ‘Where the flip is Wally now? Somewhere within this Aztec wonderland, you should be able to spot the stripe wearing, bobble-hatted Wally (does he ever change his clothes?)’
If the Aztec version doesn’t tickle your fancy, there are two other types available.
Amazon is currently selling a Wild West-themed one for £19.99, as well as a £16.35 ‘Having A Ball In Gaye Paree’ puzzle, where Wally is hiding in a room of Parisians dancers.
But this product isn’t the only one to have caught the attention of puzzle enthusiasts over recent weeks.
Amazon is also selling a challenging 1,000-piece puzzle made of the same block colour, which requires puzzle pros to go off shape (rather than colour) to match up all the parts.
Science fans will also enjoy a new moon puzzle which features real-life craters on the near side of the moon – thanks to an image provided by NASA.
But perhaps the product which trumps the lot, is the world’s largest puzzle released by Kodak a few weeks back.
The enormous product is made up of 51,300 pieces and features 27 different ‘wonders’ of the world.
Each ‘wonder’ forms its own individual 1,900-piece puzzle. All 27 then slot together to form the super-puzzle, which stretches 16.47 sq metres in total.
