A British diver has been blowing bubbles under the sea – and snapping the breathtaking results.
Mark Tilley has pictured the wide vortex rings he and friends created while diving in places like the Cayman Islands, Mexico and Hawaii.
The air-filled rings appear to levitate in the water as they are pictured drifting away from the diver.
The rings seem almost like solid objects in the snaps in the seconds before they burst.
Some shots even show the divers defying logic by creating long, looping ropes of air.
Free diving photographer Mark, 34, explained the process of capturing such unique photos.
He said: ‘Each of these shots shows the use of bubble rings to create great images. Some are relatively simple and others are capturing a moment of madness.
‘All of these images make me smile – and knowing the different geographical locations of each pic and the different personalities involved with the images are great memories.’
