Supermarket and food stores have adjusted their opening times over the Easter weekend.
Many people will be spending the holiday break in their homes and gardens, as per the government’s coronavirus measures.
Nevertheless, supermarkets will still be open for all the Easter essentials – although it is worth noting the government advise you only leave your house for the basic necessities, and as infrequently as possible.
If you do find yourself needing to pop to the shops this bank holiday weekend, here’s what you need to know about Marks and Spencer’s opening times.
Is Marks and Spencer open over Easter?
All M&S Foodhall will be open on Good Friday, Saturday 11 April and Easter Monday – including in larger stores.
There has been some change to the opening times, with many stores operating on shorters hours and closing by 6pm.
Foodhalls will be closed on Easter Sunday.
Opening times will differ from store to store, so do double-check with your local branch. You can do so by checking the M&S store finder.
The coronavirus pandemic has led M&S to introduce special measures for shoppers, which will remain in place throughout the Easter weekend.
The measures see the first hour of trading reserved for NHS, care and health workers on Friday, and old and vulnerable customers on Monday.
M&S has also recently partnered with Deliveroo to deliver essentials to households during the coronavirus lockdown.
It is the first time M&S food is available on Deliveroo, and a selected range of approximately 60 M&S products will be available to order.
