It’s Easter Sunday, and although this year’s celebrations might be somewhat different in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, people across the world are still marking the day with greetings, online services and of course lots of chocolate.

And one way to send your Easter greetings to someone elsewhere in the world could be to wish them a happy Easter in their native language.

So just how do you wish someone in another part of the globe a happy Easter?

If you want to send someone Easter greetings in French, you can say ‘Joyeuses Paques’.

If you’re sending Easter wishes to Italian-speaking friends, you can greet them with ‘buona Pasqua’.
