The Golden Globes marks the official start of awards season, which is one of the biggest times of the year for fashion fanatics (excluding the Fashion Weeks).
2018 saw an all-black dress code for the Golden Globes in honour of the Time’s Up movement, but glitz and glamour reigned supreme once again last year as it went back to classic white tie.
It’s likely we’ll see a focus on eco-friendly fashion this time around, with the infamous Fiji Water girl being replaced by Icelandic Glacial water promoters handing out glass bottles.
Even the food being served to guests is designed to highlight mass consumption and climate change.
With that in mind, there’s potential for some big statements to be made by the celebs on the red carpet, even if they’re still wearing haute couture.
That, or just strutting their stuff in the finest designers, which we still love to see.
