Now that Christmas television ads are fully underway, Black Friday has landed and office parties are in the diary, we have officially entered the festive season.
Which of course means that another festive rite of passage is just around the corner: that’s right, Christmas Jumper Day.
When is it and where you can you score the best Christmas jumper?
We’re glad you asked.
When is Christmas Jumper Day and who organises it?
Christmas Jumper Day takes place on Friday 13 December.
The campaign – run by Save the Children – urges people to participate by donning their ‘silliest sweater’ for the day.
You can sign up via the Save the Children website to get your free fundraising kit.
They recommend a donation of £2, or £1 if you’re a school.
Where to get the best Christmas jumpers
Our favourite Christmas jumper is indubitably the Lizzo themed festive knit which caught our eye earlier this month.
Other good picks include Primark which has an array of yuletide yarns, featuring super-cute penguins, polar bears and, erm, sloths.
Tesco, ASOS, H&M, George at Asda and Boohoo also have a great selection of fab-yule-ous knits (sorry, we can’t help it).
Sainsbury’s have released a special selection of Christmas jumpers for all the discerning doggos in your life, too.
Finally, if you’d like to make a statement, PETA have also launched a special anti-wool Christmas jumper, made of 100% acrylic yarn.
The terrifying jumper, which features a giant 3-D sheep isn’t exactly festive, but it sure makes a statement.
