Black Friday is nearly upon us, which means there will be bargains galore, and many have already gone up.
ASOS is always a popular one, and you can bank on being able to find gifts for friends and family – as well as yourself, of course.
The discounts went live from around 5am on Thursday 28 November, and there are plenty of codes to make the most of your pre-Christmas coins.
You can expect up to 70% off everything on site from then until roughly 8am on 3 December, and you don’t need to use a code for this sale.
There are plenty of bargains, which we’ve handpicked for you.
AllSaints leather jacket – was £318, now £238.50
You’d be mad to buy AllSaints stuff at full price because, while it’s widely coveted and really great quality, it’s also very expensive.
Leather jackets from the brand make a good investment buy as they last years to come, and also doesn’t feel too spenny as it’s on sale.
Pair with an underwear-as-outerwear slip dress and some Balenciaga-style boots and you’re basically Courtney Love.
ASOS design block heels – was £30, now £9
It’s coming to the season where you might want to wear heels, but as we’ve all learned only too well by being barefoot by the end of the night, our feet do not.
These block heels aren’t just fashion-forward, they’re also sturdy, so hopefully they won’t make the balls of your feet feel like they’re on fire.
Plus, the ties up your leg will make you look super elegant (rather than like the kind of person only going out in anticipation of a kebab after).
Nike slouchy jumpsuit – was £65, now £26
If there’s a sportswear label on it, it officially counts as sports luxe rather than a comfy lounge outfit.
We don’t make the rules.
This Nike number would suit a big wool teddy coat, a pair of fresh sneaks, and a glass of mulled wine at a Christmas market.
ASOS DESIGN 5 pack t-shirts – was £26, now £18
Black Friday is the perfect time to buy basics.
This five pack has tees in black, white, navy, grey, and wine, and a simple crew neck so they can stand alone or be worn under jumpers and shirts.
Adidas Originals Nite Jogger trainers – was £100, now £30
If a new pair of trainers are on your Christmas list, these could replace them.
They’re a casual style, but with a prominent tongue and a pop on neon and pastel to show you’re one of the streetwear squad.
Clinique’s Shining Stars Set – was £70, now £35
Whether you buy this Clinique set for yourself or someone else, you have to agree it’s a bargain.
It comes with makeup remover, cleansing balm, auto-replenishing hydrator, eye concentrate, a Chubby Stick, eyeliner, and mascara.
Everything you need to wow them all with your refreshed skin come NYE.
ASOS WHITE utility shirt dress – was £65, now £19.50
If you buy this dress, you have to do so with the blind hope that you won’t spill red wine down it the second you enter a party.
It’s genuinely beautiful, with a yeehaw agenda collar and a thick enough material that you won’t feel exposed.
The green counterpart of this is sitting at £45.50, so this is a huge saving.
Opening Ceremony backpack – was £110, now £33
Opening Ceremony are the cool brand worn by people who care about the brand of toothpaste they use and won’t put up certain pictures on their Insta because it ruins the colour palette.
The items are simple, classic, upmarket, and – importantly in this case – on sale to a huge extent.
ASOS DESIGN Curve midi dress – was £45, now £13.50
Picture the scene: You walk into the work Christmas party and everyone who’s ever sent you a ‘as per my last email’ email apologises for their pointed tone.
That’s what’ll happen in this little number, which is both sexy but demure, so there’s no chance of accidentally flashing a boob to your boss.
Added bonus is that that long sleeve is perfect for dramatic exits if necessary.
The North Face puffer jacket – was £200, now £130
The North Face gear is ideal for this confused and horrible weather we’ve been having, and should see you through a number of winters.
They’re certainly investment pieces, but North Face jackets will stop you walking around freezing and sodden in last year’s cheapy puffa.
Urban Ears wireless earphones – was £69.99, now £21
The backlash against AirPods came when Chrissy Tiegen blithely claimed that her mum went through dozens a year because she couldn’t be bothered finding them if they got lost.
Go for the more economical choice with these UrbanEars ones, that aren’t just way cheaper, but also come with a handy woven wire so they’re harder to lose.
Although we’ve shown you the grey ones, other colours are also on sale.
