Catherine Zeta-Jones apparently has a wild punishment for husband Michael Douglas if he loses a round of golf, and it might be slightly TMI.
The Mask of Zorro actress, 54, married the Basic Instinct actor, 79, in 2000, around a year and a half after they first started dating.
During an appearance on the View, Michael made a very X-rated confession about their 24-year marriage as he touched on their competitive natures.
Alyssa Farah Griffin got more than she bargained for after asking the Hollywood titan how his partner gets her revenge when winning on the golf course.
‘What does she make you do when you lose to her?’ the presenter innocently questioned.
Without skipping a beat, he replied: ‘Whip it out.’
As the panel fell into hysterics, he continued: ‘[She says] “You’ve got to whip it out. Drop the trou and whip it out.”’
‘That’s the secret to a marriage,’ Alyssa quipped, as Michael got back to the sporty topic at hand, adding: ‘I’m going to be 80 in September, so now I play off of ladies tees, too, so I don’t have to do that anymore.’
Good to know…
Michael and Catherine tied the knot at the swanky Plaza Hotel in New York in November, 2000, shortly after the arrival of their son, Michael.
They went on to welcome daughter Carys together in 2003, while the Fatal Attraction star is also father to son Cameron, from his first marriage to Diandra Luker.
The dad-of-three recently opened up about fatherhood in a hugely candid interview with the Telegraph, sharing his biggest regrets about missing out on his eldest son’s childhood.
‘Cameron suffered a lot from that time,’ he shared. ‘I was just overwhelmed and overloaded by my work. And family was really taking third place after work, our country and then the family as opposed to when Catherine and I got together.
‘And you’ve done enough work already that you were looking more to enjoy the opportunity and the kids.
‘I’m just sliding by just now. I’ve reached the point in terms of skiing and a couple of other activities that I’m no longer able to keep up with them on any basis.’
‘This has been a great time for me but I’ve been very fortunate,’ he added of his long-standing marriage. ‘Catherine and I have been together, it’ll be 25 years this year. So it’s been a good ride and I’ve been very fortunate, happy with the choices that I’ve made and now am really backing off and smelling the roses a little more, travelling more.
‘We’re empty nesters so we can get around a lot more than we used to raising two children in your fifties, sixties, and into your seventies?’
