Willie Nelson has been forced to pull out of another show, leaving fans concerned for his health.
Over the weekend, the Always On My Mind singer, 91, shared that he was unable to perform at the Outlaw Music Festival tour on doctor’s orders, after feeling unwell.
He was replaced by his son, Lukas Nelson, with his team vowing that he would be resting for four days, and would make a ‘quick recovery’.
The music legend – who recently dropped a new album – was due to take to the stage later today in Virginia Beach, on the next stop of the tour, but will no longer be appearing.
‘Willie Nelson will not be performing at tonight’s show in Virginia Beach,’ a statement said on his social media page said. ‘We expect Willie to return to the tour shortly.
‘Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Celisse will perform as scheduled.
‘In addition, Lukas Nelson and Family along with some special guests will play his own set which will include Willie’s classics and other songs.’
Fans were left concerned over the announcement and flocked to the comments below, sharing their fears – and hopes for a quick recovery.

Further details on Willie’s health have not been shared, and it is not clear when he will be back on stage.
Outlaw Festival will next travel to Syracuse on June 28, with further performances in New York and New Jersey later this month.
In July, they have dates scheduled in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Oregon, California and Washington.
Willie, one of country music’s most notable names, has cancelled multiple shows in recent years due to health difficulties.
In 2019, he pulled out of a tour that he was due to embark on with Alison Krauss, after a breathing problem – which sparked his decision to stop smoking cannabis, turning his attention to vaping and edibles.
He later spoke about staying healthy the following year, sharing that he never thought that he would ‘get this old’.
He told Slate: ‘I still try to do a little workout every day just to pay for the day. That’s what I call it: You have to do something to pay for the day.
‘So I’ll get up and do a little walking or jogging or whatever, just enough to keep the heart going.’
