Demolition has begun on Cara Delevingne’s $7million (£5.5million) LA property which was burnt down in March.

Bulldozers were seen arriving on her property and parts of it were fenced off, including the pool area which was left undamaged by the fire.

The model, 31, home was fire-ravaged and completely ruined after a fire broke out while the star was safely living in the UK while she performs in the West End.

The investigators have issued an official ruling claiming the cause of the fire to be ‘undetermined’.

However, those close to Cara have blamed an electrical issue and pointed towards rogue powerlines, which was not conclusively proven.

The blaze was fought by 94 firefighters who were reportedly putting the fire out for two hours.

The roof of the property caved in and was completely engulfed in flames, but thankfully the actor’s cats were saved by the emergency services.

The actor took to social media to thank those who saved her moggies and share her heartbreak that her house had been ruined.

‘My heart is broken today. I cannot believe it. Life can change in a blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.’

‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people that have showed up to help,’ she added.

In her Architectural Digest interview from two years ago, the Only Murders in the Building actress gave a tour of her property and showed off some of the unique aspects such as secret tunnels between rooms- including a ‘vagina tunnel’, a playroom, and a ball pit.

She explained that the unique features were a reflection of her personality:  ‘My work requires me to put on many different hats and costumes.

‘I love slipping into these various characters, so I wanted my home to reflect lots of different themes and moods.’

She also commented: ‘If I’m having a bad day, I just hop in the ball pit. You can’t really cry in a ball pit.’

Cara was forced to deny being ‘coked up’ earlier this week.

An awkward red carpet interview at the Met Gala showed the star acting strangely towards an interviewer, stoking her on the wrist and being slightly twitchy.

This led to her being dragged by fans who were confused by this bizarre appearance and suggested that she wasn’t sober for this interaction.
