Ant McPartlin was in high spirits as he stepped out with his heavily pregnant wife with her due date looming.
The Britain’s Got Talent presenter and Anne-Marie Corbett were all smiles as they enjoyed a double date with Jamie Redknapp and his wife Frida Andersson.
Photographed at The River Cafe in London, the happily married pair grabbed lunch and a catch-up with Ant’s pal Jamie, 50.
Anne-Marie, 46, cradled her baby bump lovingly, while Ant remained close by her side and holding hands.
The beloved ITV star kept things casual in a blue knitted cardigan and black jeans, while his wife opted for a satin midi skirt and matching tee.
Meanwhile, former Liverpool player Jamie and Frida looked typically stylish, with the A League of Their Own star wearing combat trousers and trainers, while Frida went for chic dark jeans with a blazer.
As the foursome lunched in the capital, we can imagine Jamie had plenty of tips to offer dad-to-be Ant ahead of his exciting arrival.
The footie icon has a young son and is also a stepdad. Like Ant, he is twice married too, meaning they have much in common.
Ant and Anne-Marie’s double date comes weeks after he signed off from Saturday Night Takeaway for a hiatus.
Celebrating 20 series, Ant and his co-host Declan Donnelly went out on a high with a jam-packed two-hour special full of special guests and surprises.
The popular Geordie duo recently confirmed that the break was so they could spend more time with their families, as Dec also has two young kids.
In a heartfelt chat before the series hit screens, Ant opened up about pressing pause on the hit entertainment show.
‘On a more personal level, part of the reason we’re pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family,’ he told Fault Magazine.
‘We’ve both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit.
‘We need time to think and, and time to step back and look at the bigger picture and just see where we are now.’
Ant married his ex-PA Anne-Marie in a dreamy ceremony back in 2021.
She has two daughters of her own, to whom Ant is incredibly close, having dedicated one of his tattoos to them.
Anne-Marie is his second wife following Ant’s split from makeup artist Lisa Armstrong in 2018.
Meanwhile, as Saturday Night Takeaway goes on indefinite hiatus, the status of Ant and Dec’s other presenting gigs is unclear.
While the BGT auditions recently started airing (they were pre-filmed earlier this year), who knows what could happen once we reach live shows?
As a result, Stephen Mulhern is said to be on standby in case Anne-Marie goes into labour.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper previously: ‘The timing is causing something of a headache for bosses.
‘They are considering whether Dec would present alone if Anne-Marie went into labour or, if time allows, a guest presenter could step in.’
New This Morning host Cat Deeley could also be brought in, as she, too, is a ‘front-runner’, having worked with Ant and Dec in the past.
