Dani Harmer has sent fans wild with an adorable reunion with her Tracy Beaker co-star.

The hit CBBC show was a staple in most family households during the noughties, and viewers are obsessed with this blast from the past.

Dani, now 35, played the infamous teenager in the Dumping Ground, first rising to fame aged 13.

Over the years, she starred alongside Chelsie Padley (who played Louise), Montanna Thompson (Justine Littlewood), Clive Rowe (Duke) and Nisha Nayer (Elaine the Pain).

And now she’s treated us to a reunion with her co-star Cara Readle, who played Layla Jones.

The 33-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, appeared on the programme from series three to series five, and broke barriers becoming the first character with a disability.

The sweet snap shared on Dani’s Instagram was captioned: ‘Nothing better than catching up with one of your oldest friends 🥹!

‘Me and @carajayne.1 had the loveliest evening reminiscing about our crazy childhood! The perfect evening.’

Cara, who went on to star on Baker Boys and CBeebies show Biff & Chip, posted the same image on her stories, writing, ‘Was so lush,’ and commenting on Dani’s: ‘ It was the loveliest evening xx.’

Fans loved seeing the pair together, with @steffi_whovian writing: ‘Awwww look at you lovely girlies 🥹🩷 my childhood 😭🩷.’

She was accompanied by her on-screen daughter, played by Emma Maggie Davies, as a follow-up to My Mum Tracy Beaker.

In 2022, Dani shared that she gave birth to a baby boy, her second child with partner Simon Brough.
