Too Hot To Handle stars Emily Miller and Cam Holmes are having a baby.
The loved up couple, who met on the extremely raunchy Netflix reality show in 2020, celebrated their third anniversary together on December 19, and now they’ve kicked off 2024 with some amazing news.
They made the announcement on social media in a joint post, sharing snaps of them both posing with the baby scans.
‘Baby Miller-Holmes. Due June 2024,’ they wrote on Instagram.
Just 18 a year and a half ago, Emily, 29, and Cam, 27, suffered a devastating pregnancy loss.
She was hospitalised for an ectopic pregnancy, and needed to undergo surgery to remove her fallopian tube, which left her wondering if she’d ever want to try to get pregnant again.
She told People: ‘It sounds cliché, but it really is our little miracle. This is what I’m so excited for, to be able to tell people it is possible.’
According to the NHS, an ectopic pregnancy is when ‘a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes’, which connect the ovaries to the womb.
If the egg gets stuck in them, it can’t ‘develop into a baby’, with other health risks.
Emily has revealed that having ‘been pregnant before’, she knew she was pregnant again ‘two weeks after conceiving’.
She explained: ‘My boobs are really small naturally, and they swelled up straight away. It’s just woman instincts.’
Even fans have noticed the changes, with some recently asking her if she’d had breast implants.
She laughed: ‘I’m chuckling inside,” she says. “It’s so funny. I’m just like, “Ah, only a couple more weeks ’til you guys will know.” It’s flattering that people are noticing my bigger boobs. I’ve never had that confidence before, so it’s a positive!’
However, she didn’t ‘want to get ahead’ of herself, and waited a while to take a test, before telling her mum the happy news.
‘We were both just hugging each other in tears. She’s been so good,’ the reality star said. ‘If I come through the door even holding a shopping bag from the supermarket, she’ll be like, ‘No, no, no, no, no. Let me take that. Let me take that.
‘She’s been so sweet because she’s done it [three times].’
The couple ‘really weren’t trying’ to get pregnant, and they were both ‘completely caught off-guard’, but they quickly ‘realised this is a miracle’.
They will find out the sex of their baby at 20 weeks, although the couple haven’t quite settled on names yet, with a few options in mind.
