Jeremy Kyle became a dad again at 58 years old, announcing the birth of his sixth child – a little girl named Iris.
This is the second child with his wife Victoria Burton, and the TalkTV Breakfast Show joked he will now be working until he is 80 and now has ‘another wedding to pay for’.
Jeremy was in good spirits when they revealed he and his 39-year-old wife were expecting, poking fun at Boris Johnson and his many children.
When asked if he’d be looking to have more little ones, he said that ‘six is a great number.’
‘Six is three on each side to carry my coffin, so I think I’m done,’ the presenter told The Sun.
While people may have had their personal lives played out on his daytime TV show, Jeremy keeps his family life fairly out of the spotlight.
Who is Jeremy Kyle’s wife?
Jeremy is married to Victoria and has been since October 2021, tying the knot in Windsor, Berkshire, after having to reschedule six times.
The couple met when Victoria was hired to look after his children with Carla Germaine, whom he split from in 2015.
They began dating in 2016, with Jeremy popping the question when they were on holiday in the Caribbean a year later.
Unfortunately, their wedding didn’t quite go to plan as the pandemic forced them to cancel six times before they were finally able to walk down the aisle at an intimate family event.
Before meeting Victoria, Jeremy had been married to Carla for 13 years and welcomed three children together.
His first marriage in 1989 was to Kirsty Rowley but issues with gambling and debt were said to have caused the relationship to collapse.
Who are Jeremy Kyle’s children?
The presenter has six children, his oldest being a daughter named Harriet from his first marriage who was born in 1990.
In 2018, Jeremy was reportedly ‘over the moon’ as he became a grandfather when Harriet announced the birth of her own daughter, Isla – she has since had a second tot.
With his second wife Carla, Jeremy had three children – Alice, 19, Ava, 17, and Henry, 14.
In a segment on TalkTV, the star gave a big family update: ‘Alice is about to go to university; Henry is about to go to boarding school; Ava has just got eight GCSEs.
‘It’s amazing, she’s severely dyslexic. It’s incredible what she’s done, amazing. I’m so proud.’
Ava ran into some issues when she got bit by a spider in her sleep, needing to be taken to hospital two days before Christmas.
His youngest son is Oliver, born in January 2020 to Jeremy and Victoria, with the couple ‘delighted’ at their new arrival.
