Amanda Holden has the right idea amid the cost of living crisis.

The BGT judge, 52, looked stunning in a silver dress as she walked onto the stage for the final with fellow panelists Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli.
At first, it looked like a regular mini dress (well, a very expensive one) covered in diamantés and accessorised with matching jewels.
However, when Amanda revealed her outfit to her social media followers, they got a real surprise.
Sharing a video to her Instagram Story, Amanda started off in the dark before clicking her fingers and, as if by magic, her skirt lit up!
If the ITV studio has a power cut at any time, we know who they’ll be calling.
As well as her glitzy strapless frock, Amanda also wore a chunky clear plastic necklace with matching bangles.
She wore her blonde tresses in effortless waves and opted for a natural but glam make-up look.
The judge is no stranger to pushing the boundaries when it comes to fashion.
For the 2023 BGT semi-finals, she’s pulled out all the stops, wowing viewers in both backless numbers and even a figure-hugging yellow latex gown.
It’s no secret that her outfit choices have caused a stir over the years, with actual complaints sent to Ofcom over her ‘racy’ looks.
But, Amanda refuses to be tamed.
Speaking ahead of series 16, the TV personality said she has no idea what all the fuss is about.
She also joked that Simon and Bruno have more skin on show than she does.
‘Man boobs, with your [Simon] shirts undone and him [Bruno] stripping off. I’m like… no Ofcom complaints about me this year please.’
Newcomer Bruno, 67, then quickly defended Amanda and simply encouraged her to ‘show it off.’
‘I don’t understand this complaining,’ he said.
‘She’s a beautiful woman, they’re beautiful women. What is the problem?’
Amanda also previously also pointed out that her fellow BGT judge Alesha never gets the same critique that she does with her daring dresses.
The I Can See Your Voice star added to The Sun: ‘Alesha gets away with wearing bikinis, but I don’t seem to. It’s bizarre.
‘With shows where there are strong women on a panel, it’s sadly inevitable that they’ll be judged on what they’re wearing.’
And just in case anyone was wondering, Amanda’s outfits are, in fact, approved before the cameras start rolling.
She’s said everything she wears is ‘checked by an empowering female producer’ and that she hasn’t been told that she ‘can’t wear something… yet!’
