Vanessa Feltz victim of unsolicited penis pictures from men now she’s single

Vanessa Feltz has revealed she is now ‘regularly’ receiving unsolicited full frontal photographs from men since her split from Ben Ofeodu.

The This Morning agony aunt, 60, ended her 16-year relationship with fiance Ben in February after she learnt on Christmas Day that he had cheated on her.

Following reports of his infidelity, Ben, 50, admitted to having sex with another woman while he was working in Ibiza in 2015, while also sexting a fan and flirting with another woman.

In the wake of their break-up, Vanessa has shared she’s now been inundated with unwanted attention from strangers.

She explained that the photos are being sent to her ‘pretty regularly’.

‘Most of us have experienced that on a pretty regular basis – I know I do, I normally send back a laughing emoji and then I block the person,’ she said.

‘I wouldn’t say I enjoy it, on the other hand it’s just one of those hazards,’ she added while speaking to Love Island star Amy Hart on her TalkTV show.

Amy, who appeared on the fifth season of the reality series in 2019, is currently campaigning for the government to rethink cyberflashing laws as the Online Safety Bill reaches its final stages.

She explained that she had experienced similar violations to Vanessa.

‘It can feel quite violating and also it’s taken that choice away from you, it’s taken that power away from you and it’s a power thing for a lot of them, because they have forcibly made you view that picture,’ she said.

‘There’s a lot of men who put them on their Instagram story and then tag a lot of women they want to see it so we’re just scrolling through our Instagram story mentions and it’ll appear, and then they have a list of who’s seen it and get like a kick out of it.’

Speaking about the issue, Vanessa explained that she thought men cyberflashed as a way to cause distress.

‘It’s to cause pain and shame and disquiet in a total stranger that’s done nothing to you whatsoever, nothing to provoke it and I think the knowledge of that is very often the inspiration behind it,’ she said.

‘It’s not that they need to be educated that it’s not nice, they know it’s not nice.

‘That’s why they do it.’

The pair also aired their concern surrounding the current laws and that they don’t believe the current bill goes far enough, while also speaking about how they don’t think the laws surrounding this should remain as intent rather than consent based.

It currently needs to be proved there was malicious intent to prosecute.

Last month Ben said he would ‘love to be back’ with his ex, adding that he still ‘loved her so much’.

He added he wanted to ‘set the record straight’ and was not a ‘serial cheat’.

Vanessa Feltz’s TalkTV show airs weekdays at 4pm.
