Someone has made a chocolate bust of King Charles, it’s giving ‘The Head’ from Art Attack

The King’s Coronation is so close we can almost taste the quiche.

But one master chocolatier and a talented team of sculptors have gone all out for the occasion.

They’ve created a chocolate model of King Charles – after studying hours of footage to capture his likeness.

And the resemblance to His Majesty is uncanny.

However, while there’s no denying how talented master chocolatier Jennifer Lindsey-Clarke and her team are, children of the 90s may see a slight resemblance to another famous face… The Head from Art Attack.

The chocolate sculpture – which took 130 hours to create and weighs 23kg – looks very similar to the talking head statue that appeared in the hit children’s show.

Simply known as The Head, the character featured in the programme hosted by the legendary Neil Buchanan, which aired from 1990 – 2007.

While there’s no denying the King Charles bust has a more serious pose compared to the animated Art Attack head, we can’t stop thinking about the similarities.

The tasty treat was created in collaboration with Celebrations chocolates and took four weeks to make.

However, unlike The Head (that resembles clay), the bust was crafted with 17 litres of melted chocolate – which was then injected into a bespoke mould.

If you want to pay the chocolate Charles a visit, the sculpture will be on display in Slough at Mars Wrigley UK HQ.

Emily Owen, the senior brand manager at Celebrations said: ‘What better way to celebrate this moment in British history than immortalising HM King Charles III using the nation’s ultimate sharing treat. A team of master chocolatiers created the tasty tribute to our new King to mark this occasion of national festivity and we are delighted with how he looks.

‘The team studied hours of footage of the King to capture his true likeness and the resemblance is uncanny. Celebrations is all about bringing people together and we are thrilled to be sharing this occasion with so many chocolate lovers up and down the country.’
