Lindsay Lohan showed off her growing stomach for the first time since breaking the news she was expecting her first child with her husband.
The 36-year-old actress took to Instagram to debut her swollen belly in a maxi-crocheted green and white summer frock.
She snapped the mirror selfie while staying at the luxury hotel New York Edition in New York City while with her sister Aliana, just over a week ago.
Pouting her lips to resemble the infamous duck pose, the star took the photo on her mobile phone and leaned against the door frame to move her stomach into view.
Lindsay is geared up to welcome her first child with her husband – financier Bader Shammas – and it has been said they will welcome the baby in Dubai during the summer months.
Sharing the news last March, the A-lister uploaded a snap of a baby-grow with a personalised message that read: ‘Coming soon’, across the front of it, alerting fans to her life-changing addition.
She captioned her picture: ‘We are blessed and excited!’
Following her announcement, the actress’s mother gave an interview explaining her role in the delivery.
She told People: ‘I will be there. Absolutely. I’ll be there for sure.
‘She’s like, “Mommy, what does this mean? I feel like this. What is this?”
‘Lindsay has always loved kids because I love kids and my mother loves kids. I’m one of four.
‘We have a big family, so she’s always wanted children. And she’s so maternal. Isabelle, her niece just runs to her when she sees her.’
Lindsay has previously opened up about the next chapter in her life to TMZ, revealing how excited she and Bader were to become parents soon.
She said: ‘We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!’
Their surprise news came just one week after the happy couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
‘April 3, 2023 1 year today Happy Anniversary [sic]’, the Freaky Friday star wrote on her Instagram, alongside an adorable shot of the parents-to-be on a romantic stroll together.
