McDonald’s Monopoly is back for 2022, and it’s looking bigger and better than ever
As ever there are some great prizes up for grabs, including a mouth-watering £100,000 – now that’s a lot of McNuggets – as well as cars, holidays, experience days, £1,000 to spend on home entertainment and a whole lot more.
For those of you hoping to win it big on a budget, we have some good news: you don’t need to spend a fortune to be in with a chance of nabbing a prize.
Just what is the cheapest meal option on the McDonald’s Monopoly menu?
What is the cheapest meal option to win McDonald’s Monopoly prizes?
The cheapest meal on the Monopoly menu is the daily discounted Big Flavour wrap, which comes in at a mere £1.99.
Wrap of the Day changes daily between the BBQ Chicken Bacon, the Sweet Chilli Chicken, Garlic Mayo Chicken, and the Hot Peri Peri Chicken.
The dish features in McDonald’s Monopoly and comes with three stickers, but shoppers can increase this to eight stickers by upgrading to a meal.
The full price Big Flavour Wrap costs £3.39.
The second cheapest meal option is the grilled or crispy chicken salad, which you can get for £3.69.
What prizes can you win in McDonald’s Monopoly this year?
Once again prizes are available either as an Instant Win, or by collecting a whole set of streets from the Monopoly board.
While instant win prizes are usually something like free fries, a free cheeseburger or a free McFlurry, collect and win prizes will offer you the chance to win something much bigger, if you manage to collect the set.
As it was in 2021, the top prize is £100,000 each for four lucky winners who collect both of the dark blue streets – Park Lane and Mayfair.
Those who collect all of the green streets – Regent Street, Oxford Street and Bond Street – stand to win a Mini electric car, while if you collect all the yellows – Leicester Square, Coventry Street and Piccadilly – the prize is a holiday from TUI worth £2,000.
Other prizes up for grabs include Experience Days, Grind True Wireless Earbuds, £1,000 in cash and a McDonald’s gold card – which entitles you to a meal per week for a year.
