Attention, vegans and vegetarians: Moving Mountains is now in supermarkets

We all know that we should be reducing our meat consumption but if you’re not au fait with plant-based life, cooking vegan tends to be harder and less satisfying than dining out.

After all, ordering a juicy vegan burger topped creamy cheese and pickles in a pub is light work – and a long shot from the tofu stir fry you’ve attempted to make at home.

But not anymore, because plant-based king Moving Mountains has just launched in a tonne of UK supermarkets – meaning that you can whip up a taste delight from the comfort of your own kitchen

Whether you’re a long-time vegan, veg-curious or you simply fancy a change from all that chicken you’re munching, Moving Mountains is as close to meat as you’re going to get without slaughtering an animal.

The range, which was previously only available in restaurants, is now available to cook at home and includes the iconic ‘bleeding burger’, meatballs and hot dogs. The range is available from Waitrose, Ocado and Sainsbury’s.

Everything is 100% plant protein, 0% cholesterol and GMO-free. The burgers brown like ‘real’ meat when cooked and replicate the taste and texture – perfect for committed carnivores who recognise the environmental need to reduce their animal intake.

Get your hands on:

The iconic ‘bleeding’ burger, £4.50, Ocado and Waitrose

Veganism is the ‘single biggest way’ to reduce our carbon footprint, according to the University of Oxford.

While no one expects you to go plant-based full-time, having just one meat-free day a week can make a massive difference… and this range makes that so much easier.
