A caravan is for life not just for staycations – as we can see by this fantastic transformation.
Ciana O’reilly, 24, decided to revamp a second-hand mobile home to run her side hustle beauty business, with stunning results.
The Dublin-based learning and development specialist says business is booming since offering her beauty treatments from a quirky space.
Not only that, she completed the DIY project for less than £1500 in total. The caravan itself was £750, and the rest went on materials for the update.
Ciana said: ‘I am a nail and eyelash technician of a weekend but I needed somewhere to carry out the treatments.
‘I still live with my family and they weren’t too pleased with clients coming in and out of the house.
‘I didn’t want to give up doing what I love so I went to a caravan park and found this little gem.
‘I am amazed with how good it looks and pretty proud to say I did everything on my own.
‘I have painted the caravan from top to bottom in baby pink.It is super girly and aesthetically pleasing.
‘I actually think some people just book in with me so they can take pictures for Instagram.’

It took four weeks and 112 hours to complete the project which Ciana has named the ‘Glamour Caravan’.
From knocking the bathroom and wardrobes down with a hammer to getting bargain features – such as the selfie-friendly flower wall – it was all done without professional help.
Ciana painted everything from the oven to the kettle pink and replaced the brown sofas in the 80s mobile home with a pink (naturally) treatment bed.
‘I thought I would have needed more help but everything went smoothly,’ she said.
‘I was shocked by how easy it was to pull everything out! The treatment bed fits perfectly where the brown sofas were.
‘The dull brown cupboards have pink and white stripes with glitzy handles.
‘I did everything on the cheaper scale and ordered the accessories from Ali Express.’
The finishing touches include a new grey floor, a Hollywood mirror, butterflies on the wall and vintage tea cups.
Ciara added: ‘I am happy that I can bring a different experience to the beauty industry.
‘Clients aren’t only wowed by the decor but the stunning views of the countryside too.’
