Aldi’s velvet scalloped armchair is back – and it’s much cheaper than similar ones from designer brands.
The chair hit stores in March but sold out quickly with shoppers attracted by the £79.99 price tag.
It was compared to a similar one from Oliver Bonas, which costs £395.
The Aldi chair comes in two colours – dusky pink and on-trend navy, which sadly doesn’t quite match up to Oliver Bonas’ five shade options.
You can also get some stylish accessories to go with your chair this time round including a velvet storage stool in the same colours for £24.99. It has a lid which can be turned over to use as a table, with some space inside.
There’s also a range of gold, copper and black wire shelves, with each one priced at £14.99.
And if you need more smart but beautiful storage, they have velvet ottomans with gold legs in the same pink shade, as well as grey or teal.
Many of the pieces are available exclusively online and you can preorder from today.
The last version of the chair had lots of great reviews, with 4.9 stars out of 5, as people were impressed by the quality for the low price.
One said: ‘These chairs are fantastic quality and I’m amazed what a reasonable price they are. I had been searching lots of retailers and glad I found these online.’
Another added: ‘I love this chair. I was planning to buy a similar one from another branded shop that was £200 but I received an email from from ALDI and thought I might try. I could not believe it when it arrived – the quality is so good. I love it, so many people have commented how nice it is. Thank you Aldi.’
