You can look even more like your dog thanks to an adorable Etsy shop selling personalised masks.

Dogs And Dorks is selling face masks which can be adorned with your pet’s mouth on the front – so you can look the spitting image of your beloved animal.

It seems people can’t get enough of the personalised masks either, as the shop has sold 100 of the unique items in just three weeks.

Danielle Schule, who owns the shop with her friend Denise Smandych, said she was inspired by her pooch’s crooked teeth.

The 44-year-old from Calgary, Canada, said: ‘I was staring at my computer and my Boston terrier smiled at me.

‘I snapped a picture of him, his teeth are so gross and funny and I decided to put them on a mask.’

The response has been so positive, Danielle has even received photographs of owners wearing the masks beside their pets.

She’s also had lots of requests from parents, who have found them a great way to get kids to put on a face mask.

She says: ‘If we can create something that makes mask-wearing a bit more fun, we want to do that.’

But the shop hasn’t just caught the attention of dog and cat lovers, one snake owner even asked Danielle is she could make a mask printed with the fangs of his pet reptile.

She adds: ‘He sent us a fantastic picture and we did it and he was ecstatic.’

Danielle’s masks cost £12.13 and customers will need to supply their favourite picture of their pet during the ordering process.

The product description reads: ‘Your pup’s face should be over 50% of the original photo so we can zoom in and still get a clear pic. Good lighting and focused pic make the best masks.’
