For obvious reasons it’s looking likely we’re going to have to think outside the box when it comes to holidays this year.
Foreign travel might be off the cards for the forseeable future, but a staycation in the UK doesn’t have to mean dreary skies and even drearier landscapes.
The UK has some seriously beautiful beaches – spots of hidden beauty that look like they’re lifted for the pages of a Caribbean travel brochure.
So, if you’re pining for white sands, crystal water and beaming sunshine, these stunning beach destinations in the UK might be just what you’re after.
Whether you’re after surfing hot spots, quaint seaside towns, or secluded coves – take a look at these beautiful beaches and start planning your dream trip.
Remember though – you’re not allowed to go on holiday just yet, even in the UK. Day trips are allowed, but only if you’re able to maintain social distancing rules, and are able to travel there without using public transport.
