Disney has been generous to fans during lockdown by sharing a whole host of popular recipes for people to try at home.
The latest one to be released is a drink that’s typically served inside the ’50s Prime Time Café at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios.
On Sunday, Disney shared the recipe for its famous peanut butter and jelly milkshake on its Parks blog, along with a video tutorial.
And the best part is that it requires just four ingredients.
Those looking to give it a go will simply need 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 2 tablespoons of strawberry or grape jelly (or jam for UK folk), 2 cups (around 300g) vanilla ice cream, 1/4 (60 ml) cup milk
Disney says that two cups (around 400g) of sliced strawberries can be substituted for the jelly/jam.
As for the method, it couldn’t be simpler. Just blitz all the ingredients together to form a milkshake and add additional peanut butter or jam to taste.
The blog also states that the flavour might vary slightly at home, due to the fact that the recipe has been adapted from the larger quantities made in restaurant kitchens.
But this isn’t the only milkshake theme parks fans can now make at home.
A few weeks back, Universal Studios released a recipe for one of its theme park treats – the towering, sugar-heavy Confetti Milkshake.
However, the Confetti Milkshake requires a little more effort than the peanut butter and jam drink – plus a few more ingredients.
Sweet tooths will need vanilla ice cream, milk, rainbow sprinkles, rainbow vanilla cake kit (or another cake mix in a box), buttercream icing (which if you’re making from scratch requires unsalted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract and milk) and whipped cream. Then should follow the online recipe.
Over recent weeks, Disney has also shared recipes for its theme park churros and its pineapple Dole Whip dessert.
