If you’re looking for something tasty and easy to make in lockdown, try this five-ingredient fudge.
It’s flavoured with Baileys and topped with Maltesers to add some crunch.
It’s great to chop up and leave some on doorsteps to cheer up your neighbours or enjoy with your family this weekend.
It doesn’t require much effort and takes just a few hours to cook.
The recipe was shared on the Slow Cooker Recipes and Tips Facebook group and has understandably, gone viral.
People have suggested using some of the flavoured versions of the Irish cream liqueur to add a twist.
Ingredients
400g milk chocolate
One tin condensed milk
1tsp vanilla essence
One or two shots of Baileys
1 packet maltesers
Method
Put the chocolate, condensed milk and vanilla in the slow cooker. Cook on high for about one hour.
Stir every 15 minutes.
When thick and the mixture comes away from the spoon, turn off the slow cooker and add Baileys.
Pour into a tin lined with baking paper. Place Maltesers over the top.
Place in the fridge overnight to set.
