During lockdown everyone is having to change the way they live, work and stay fit.
But for performers, it’s not a simple case of being able to work from home. Even though shows are cancelled, and theatre and dance productions are on hiatus, for dancers and physical performers, it’s vital that they stay in tip-top shape for when everything gets back to normal.
Dancers who are part of the iconic chorus line at the Moulin Rouge in Paris are athletes. They are pushing their bodies to the limit during every show with intensive dance routines and acrobatic feats.
But now, all the dancers are in lockdown in the French capital – meaning they can’t perform, and they can’t even get to the gym or the studio to train.
But that doesn’t mean the hard work stops. A incredible photo series has been released to show how the dancers are practicing at home – giving a rare glimpse into the personal lives of these world-famous performers.
And the added backdrop of idyllic Parisian apartments and decor just makes the whole scene look even more romantic.
