What would you do if, God forbid, you came onto your room and saw your beloved pet lying on the floor and covered in a red substance?
Chances are, you’d freak out and run over to them to find out what happened.
When one Vietnamese family saw their corgi lying on her back, with what seemed to be blood splattered on her cream fur and the floor, they panicked.
But after running over to the doggo, they soon realised Gody the corgi was just having a nap after a hard day chowing down some dragon fruit which we know is red on the outside.
Some dragon fruit are red on the inside too. It seems Gody has a bit of a sweet tooth as he had battled with the red fruit prior to his afternoon nap.
If only he’d given his owners a warning.
Gody’s owners tell us that he’s a cheeky chap that’s always playing dead.
They told Metro.co.uk: ‘Gody gave me a mini heart attack when I saw him like that.
‘He loves to lie like that and sleep everywhere, every time.’
At the moment, Gody is only two months old and is still getting used to being trained.
His owners started a Facebook page for him where he’s racked up more than 74,000 followers.
‘This page was created a while ago,’ the owners added. ‘I want to share all the fun moments of my dogs with everyone to bring them some joy in their busy days.’
‘Because he’s a baby, like other baby dogs, he likes to get himself dirty and sleep a lot. He also loves to eat fruits.’
Apparently, it was Gody’s first time eating dragon fruit too.
His followers were also given a fright when they first saw the ‘bloody’ pictures.
One person wrote: ‘When I saw this my first thought was “why would you post this?” Then I read what happened. LOL, my Chewy would do something like that. He has corgi in him.’
Another wrote: ‘I would have immediately panicked and started crying as I ran to check him out. What a heart attack. It is funny now though’.
