Fans of Big Mac Special Sauce, get ready.
McDonald’s is giving away 250 bottles of the stuff today.
The location of the giveaway is a closely guarded secret, but it will be announced on the McDonald’s Instagram sometime today, so set those notifications.
They said there has been a slight delay because the sauce has been held on a runway due to the bad weather conditions – but they’ve promised to update fans when they have more information.
It’s the first time the sauce has been available (other than on top of the famous burger) in the UK since a Special Sauce cartridge and gun sold for over £65,000 on eBay in 2016.
But it is first come first serve so expect a queue.
Those who miss out will have to wait until 5 am tomorrow when the Big Mac Special Sauce Pots will go on sale in restaurants across the UK for 50p.
The pots are only available for six weeks and once they sell out, there won’t be any more available so you better be quick.
They only have a seven-day shelf life, so don’t go overboard or you’ll be eating nothing but sauce all week.
The recipe for the sauce has always been a secret and although some have tried to recreate it, no one has quite managed the unique taste.
If you manage to get your hands on either a bottle or one of the little pots, you can add it to whatever you fancy – a homemade burger, pizza or steak. McDonald’s even suggests adding it to Mac & Cheese, which sounds delicious.
