Valentine’s Day is coming up soon.
Whether you love or loathe the romantic occasion, are single or coupled up, you’re going to appreciate this pairing.
KFC and Pizza Hut are once again teaming up to give us the combo we’ve all been waiting for – please welcome: the popcorn chicken pizza.
That’s right, you no longer have to choose between your two heart’s takeaway desires, because in 2020, you can have it all.
Is this the food equivalent of being in a throuple or having a threesome for V Day? Kind of.
The delectable dish will feature Pizza Hut’s Classic Crust base with a twist – it’s been made with Colonel Sander’s special gravy (stop being filthy, we mean regular gravy), topped with mozzarella cheese, corn and, of course, KFC’s popcorn chicken.
However, this isn’t the first time the fast food chains have coupled up.
Last year, they brought us The Gravy Supreme, a monstrous (or magnificent?) creation.
Just like its predecessor, the popcorn chicken is a fleeting romance; it will launch tomorrow and will run until 16 February, meaning you could order it for a night in with your lover on the big day.
However, the offer is only available in a large size and can only be purchased through Pizza Hut’s website.
Unfortunately, if you’re in Northern Ireland, you can’t get the popcorn pizza at all.
And there’s no vegan alternative, so plant-based partners will have to sit this one out.
But then again, you could just buy a pizza and some chicken (or vegan chicken), and make your own version at home.
