A dog has gone viral for his unusual method of showing love for his doggy sibling.

Although he is twice the size of his sister Tallulah, the adorable Archie is constantly sitting on top of her when he wants to shower her with affection.

Photos of the pair cuddling up together were shared on Facebook by their human Jennifer Tyler from New York, with the post racking up more than 12,000 likes so far, as well as thousands of comments from people in awe of their connection.

Archie, a two-year-old Can Corso, has been planting his bum on top of Tallulah since they first met.

Jennifer and her husband have four dogs in total; they got Archie when he was eight weeks old, and also look after his adoptive siblings Bruce and Annie.

Tallulah is the newest member of the family and was adopted three years ago from a local rescue shelter.

She’s been welcomed with open arms (and butt hugs).

Archie is a big boy, weighing 6.4 stone more than his sister, but she doesn’t seem to mind his strange cuddles in the slightest.

While all of the dogs get along well, the bond between Tallulah and Archie is extra special, as is evident in the photos of the pair.

Aside from the snuggles, they often play tug of war, run around chasing each other and regularly pass out on each other.

A true dog owner, Jennifer has a dedicated Instagram account for her pooches, with hilarious snaps showing off Archie’s obsession with bums.

The pup even sometimes sleeps upside down, with his butt in the air.

We don’t know about you, but this is the kind of love we want to see on Valentine’s Day.
