All sorts of oddball products can make it to the shelves, from McDonald’s Adult Creampies to Poundland engagement rings that cost (you’ve guessed it) £1.
One that’s even odder than the rest, though, comes from legendary Queen Guitarist Brian May in the form of a sports bra.
Although known more for his prowess on stage than as a lingerie designer, it appears he’s decided to turn his hands to bras that can appease rock fans.
It comes as part of his company Brian May Guitars, which primarily sells replicas of the star’s famous Red Special guitar for a more affordable price.
The brand, shortened to BMG, also sell merchandise for music lovers, from shirts to gig bags and strings.
One particular print shows all the guitars May himself has played in his career, with each instrument dotted around the garment.
It’s a cool design, and comes as a shirt or waistcoat… and a sports bra.
For £35, Brian May fans can get their hands on an Official BMG Sports Bra, designed by Brian May and featuring a racer back.
The site says about the product: ‘Highlighting Brian May’s consummate artistic talents, this active wear salutes the entire range of Brian May Guitars with a bright, bold design prominently featuring the united colours of BMG – because it doesn’t have to be red to be special!’
It’s not clear quite why the print made it to a sports bra, but joking aside it good come in pretty handy at a sweaty and jumpy gig, so fair play.
The reaction online, however, has not spared the puns and confusion.
Choosing the correct size is important, otherwise they’ll be “Under Pressure”, may “Flash” or worse still “Want to Break Free”

When asked what they are made from, May replied "It's a kind of fabric".

Yep, then there’s radio bra bra, tits a kind of fabric, we bra the champions, bra-hemian wraps-titty. The list goes on.
If you want to get your hands on one – even for the sheer pun potential – you can do so for £35, and they come in sizes XS to XL.
