Could you give sweet and affectionate cat Felicia the loving home she deserves?
Felicia is a ten-year-old kitty currently staying at Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, Pennsylvania.
She’s friendly, loving, and adores a nice snuggle on the sofa.
She also looks a little unusual, as she’s missing her top lip.
The cat’s injury occurred when Felicia was a spritely young kitten. She chewed through some wires and got electrocuted, leaving her missing a top lip and with a hole in her mouth.
Thankfully the injury doesn’t affect Felicia much – she can still eat, meow, and do all the other stuff a cat likes to do.
Oh, and she’s looking for a home where she’ll be given plenty of love and affection, having been with the shelter since the beginning of December. Could you help?
‘Felicia came in as an owner surrender,’ staff at the shelter told Metro.co.uk. ‘The owner stated that when Felicia was younger she chewed through some wires and got electrocuted and that’s why her top lip is missing. It does not affect her eating and she’s such an affectionate gal.
‘She’s a senior kitty, but you definitely couldn’t tell!
‘If someone can appreciate all of the love she has to offer then she will be glad to be your new best friend.’
As an elderly cat, Felicia will need a fairly laidback environment. She gets on well with other cats, but can’t handle dogs or small children because she gets a bit nervous.
It’s important that Felicia gets adopted soon, as the arthritis in her hip means it’s not good for her to live in a cage.
If you’re interested in giving this kitty a home, you can get in touch with Griffin Pond Animal Shelter through their website.
