What better name to give your child than your favourite fictional character?
That’s exactly what some mums and dads are doing, taking inspiration from films and television.
It might not the best way to ensure your baby has a unique moniker but hey, at least it alerts everyone you meet that you’re a big fan of Game of Thrones or Frozen.
Certain names, such as Anna and Elizabeth, have endured through the times but others like Arthur are making a comeback, having gone somewhat out of fashion.
But thanks to blockbusters like Joker, they are once again gaining favour.
Handily, the folks at children’s retailer Bella Baby have found the most popular names inspired by film and TV.
They sifted through the most popular names in 2019 and pulled out those inspired by famous faces. Next to each name is also how it ranked in the overall list of the most common baby names in 2019.
So if you’re a true TV-lover, you might want to jot some of these down.
